MTDCNC Team Swaps Studio for the Great Outdoors in Unforgettable Team-Building Day
Last week, the MTDCNC team traded studio lights for sunlight in a company-wide outdoor adventure that focused on team building, camaraderie, and a healthy dose of fun. The event brought together our European team for a full day of challenges, surprises, and shared laughs — proving that collaboration doesn’t always have to happen at a desk.
Organised with precision and plenty of creativity by our very own Colin Griffiths, the day delivered memorable moments from start to finish. From braving river swims to overcoming nerve-testing heights, the team faced a range of physical and mental challenges designed to inspire trust, connection, and resilience. And yes — some of us literally threw ourselves into it!
This wasn’t your typical Thursday at MTDCNC. The goal was simple: to bring people together in a different environment, step outside of comfort zones, and strengthen the bonds that fuel our success. And judging by the smiles, laughter, and slightly soggy clothing, the mission was a resounding success.
While our international colleagues were unable to join us this time due to scheduling conflicts, their presence was certainly missed. Events like this are a core part of our culture, and we’re committed to creating future opportunities for everyone across the MTDCNC family — no matter where they’re based.
In today’s fast-moving, hybrid-working world, genuine connection can sometimes fall by the wayside. That’s why we make a conscious effort to invest in moments like these — where collaboration meets community, and professional relationships are strengthened by personal connection.
At MTDCNC, we believe that strong teams drive great results. Whether we’re producing high-quality content in the studio or challenging each other on a climbing wall, we know that it’s our people — and how well we work together — that sets us apart.
Thank you to everyone who took part and gave it their all. And once again, a special thank you to Colin for designing a day to remember.
Here’s to continuing the adventure — and to the next one!
