A severe storm struck Valencia on October 29th, 2024, devastating local businesses, including the ITV Ice Makers plant. The storm caused significant flooding, damaging machinery and halting production. Among the hardest-hit equipment was ITV’s primary Prima Power system, integral to their manufacturing operations.
In the wake of this crisis, ITV Ice Makers’ owner, Cristina Cordon, sought assistance from Prima Power. Responding promptly, Prima Power provided a new laser machine to ensure ITV could maintain production while their injured systems were repaired. This crucial support enabled ITV to stabilize operations during a challenging period.
After nine months of dedicated repair and restoration efforts, ITV has successfully resumed full production. The repaired line is now operational, and the temporary laser machine has been returned. This collaboration has highlighted the resilience and teamwork between the two companies.
Prima Power takes pride in its role in ITV’s recovery journey, emphasizing the value of ‘Evolve by Integration’—a commitment to growing stronger through technology and collaboration. This partnership not only restored ITV to full operational capacity but also underscored the power of innovative solutions in overcoming industrial challenges.
ITV Ice Makers continues its production legacy in Valencia, thanks to the timely intervention by Prima Power. Their concerted effort in rebuilding post-disaster stands as a testament to corporate solidarity and the effectiveness of integrated technology solutions in the manufacturing sector.
