Wine Festival to celebrate 50 years of twinning between Mumbai and Stuttgart
The event for the 50th anniversary to celebrate Mumbai and Stuttgart’s twinning was held on 2nd Feb 2018. Rhineland Palatinate and Chairman of Lapp Holding AG and Andreas Lapp, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of India for Baden were the hosts of this event. The main aim of this event was to further strengthen the relationship between Mumbai and Stuttgart.
There were lots of performances and workshops held at this 50th-anniversary festival. One of the major workshops held was a business day organized by Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation. The main aim of the business day workshop was to encourage Indian companies to move to Stuttgart as a way of expanding their markets and production capacity.
This workshop also had a panel of experts from several industries, including Cable & Connection Solution for Industry 4.0 in India. Many of the existing and potential customers of Lapp India were part of these discussions.
The team from Stuttgart showcased Baden-Württemberg as one of the most interesting travel destinations that Indians can consider. On the other hand, Lapp organized a workshop aimed at training Indian engineers about the various trends and requirements in connection technologies.
At the end of the day, it was a successful event that left both parties satisfied with their relationship. The workshops and various discussions held at the event also offered lots of insights that many attendees of the event needed to know about.
