Due to the high number of participants that are expected at this event, the organizers have reserved an exhibition space that will span around 33,000 square metres to accommodate all participants and activities.
The participants of this event will come from various industries including, automotive, railways, power, medical equipment, oil and gas equipment manufacturers, auto components, aerospace, defence, shipbuilding, white and brown good, and many more. Basically, any industry that uses digital manufacturing in its production processes should benefit from this event.
Some of the metal forming technologies that will be demonstrated live at the event include Additive Manufacturing, metrology, presses, bending, welding & joining, high-speed laser machines, CAD/CAM essential for manufacturing, and robotics & automation in sheet metalworking. By the end of the shows, visitors will have gained a lot of knowledge to enable them to make informed decisions back when they get back to their workplaces.
Ravi Raghavan, President, IMTMA said that having the IMTEX Forming event just after the pandemic is very crucial to advancing India’s manufacturing capabilities moving forward. IMTEX Forming is also the leading metal forming and manufacturing technology show in southeast India, so it will be very crucial for all manufacturers within this region and the entire country at large.
