Mazak Discover 2025 Speaker Lineup Features Insights from Industry Leaders!

Mazak Corp. will host its biennial Discover 2025 event under the theme “Drive Results with Innovation”, bringing together a four-day lineup of keynote speakers and panel presentations designed to inspire and inform the manufacturing community. Taking place October 6-10 at Mazak North America’s headquarters in Florence, Kentucky, the event promises one of the most comprehensive machine tool showcases of the year, with more than 30 machines on display and live demonstrations in a single U.S. location.
The Discover 2025 agenda highlights insights from industry leaders who will share perspectives on market opportunities, automation, and the economic outlook for manufacturing. On Monday, October 6, Eduardo Tovar, editorial director of Modern Machine Shop México and content director of Meximold, will present “Mexico’s Manufacturing Landscape: Investments and Opportunities in Automotive, Aerospace, Medical and Home Appliance Industries.” With nearly three decades of experience reporting on Mexico’s manufacturing sectors, Tovar will provide valuable perspective on cross-border opportunities and global supply chain dynamics.
On Tuesday, October 7, Mike Cicco, president and CEO of FANUC America and chairman of the Board of Directors for AMT – The Association for Manufacturing Technology, will discuss “Driving Results with Automation.” His presentation will examine how automation drives productivity and efficiency in modern production environments. Cicco, who oversees FANUC’s North and South American operations, brings both engineering and executive-level expertise to his keynote.
On Wednesday, October 8, Taylor St. Germain, economist and senior consultant at ITR Economics, will present “Economic Trends Driving the Future of Manufacturing.” Drawing on his experience in market forecasting and consulting for businesses and trade associations, St. Germain will help attendees interpret industry data and apply it to strategic decision-making in their shops.
The event concludes on Thursday, October 9, with a job-shop panel discussion featuring Courtney Silver, president of Ketchie Inc.; Tavis Vaughn, VP of engineering at CNC Machine Products Inc.; Joey Jones, president of AeroTech Machining; and Adam Wulfeck, VP of sales at Jet Machine. The session will address the challenges job shops face in the current economic climate and how they can position themselves for long-term growth, with an interactive Q&A allowing attendees to engage directly with the panelists.
