LTTS and Autodesk Join Forces to Accelerate AI-Driven Digital Transformation in Manufacturing!
By Ashutosh Arora
L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has announced a strategic partnership with Autodesk to drive AI-led digital transformation across India’s process and manufacturing industries. This collaboration will integrate Autodesk’s advanced digital engineering and cloud-based solutions into LTTS’s Center of Excellence (CoE) in Vadodara, Gujarat — a hub designed to accelerate innovation and enhance smart manufacturing capabilities.
The partnership aims to deliver scalable, data-driven, and connected manufacturing solutions tailored to sectors such as FMCG, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and automotive. By leveraging the combined strengths of Autodesk’s design and engineering tools and LTTS’s deep domain expertise in AI and digitalization, the CoE will serve as a catalyst for building more intelligent and efficient production systems.
At the heart of the initiative is the adoption of AI-driven models and Autodesk’s software suite to improve operational efficiency, reduce manufacturing costs, and enhance asset performance. The CoE will also focus on implementing a comprehensive BIM-to-operations lifecycle approach—bridging the gap between digital design and real-world execution in plant engineering. This marks a significant step forward in enabling end-to-end visibility and control across industrial operations.
Alind Saxena, Executive Director and President of Mobility and Tech at LTTS, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in redefining the future of industrial engineering. He said, “The manufacturing sector is undergoing a paradigm shift, where traditional plant engineering models are evolving with connected, AI-driven frameworks. Through this partnership with Autodesk, we aim to empower our clients with future-ready digital plant solutions that enhance execution speed, cost efficiency, and operational sustainability.”
Echoing this sentiment, Haresh Khoobchandani, Vice President for Asia Pacific & Japan at Autodesk, emphasized that the collaboration reflects a shared vision for transforming India’s industrial ecosystem. “The integration of Autodesk’s capabilities into LTTS’s CoE marks a major step in strengthening India’s digital manufacturing landscape, enabling industries to adopt sustainable, high-performance plant operations. This initiative embodies our joint mission to make industrial design and manufacturing more agile, efficient, and future-ready through the power of data and cloud intelligence.”
With this partnership, LTTS and Autodesk are not only redefining the boundaries of smart manufacturing but also setting new benchmarks for how AI, digital twins, and cloud-based platforms can drive the next wave of industrial innovation. The collaboration underscores India’s growing role as a global hub for advanced engineering and digital transformation, paving the way for a more intelligent, connected, and sustainable manufacturing future.
