By Ashutosh Arora
Hikrobot India made a strong impression at the India Warehousing Show (IWS) 2025, held from June 26–28 at Yashobhoomi, India International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi. The company demonstrated its latest innovations in machine vision and mobile robotics, offering warehousing and logistics professionals a first-hand experience of technologies designed to enhance efficiency, precision, and automation across supply chain operations.
Among the highlights of Hikrobot’s exhibit was the Smart Camera – SC1000 series, an innovative solution equipped with six essential vision tools: Pattern Match, Colour Detection, H-Counts, Logic Tools, Measurement Tools, and basic OCR support. This series combines the functionality of vision detection systems with the simplicity of traditional sensors, making it suitable for diverse inspection tasks. Featuring high-precision algorithms and embedded AI modules, the SC1000 can efficiently handle presence/absence detection, classification, and measurement applications across multiple industries.
In addition, Hikrobot introduced its advanced 3D Laser Profile Sensor at the show. Based on laser triangulation technology, the sensor delivers high-frame-rate point clouds, depth images, and intensity images at micrometre-level accuracy in real-time. It is designed for high-precision, non-contact measurement applications in industries such as consumer electronics, lithium batteries, and printed circuit boards (PCBs). Alongside this, the company also showcased 3D cameras, area scan cameras, code readers, and handheld readers, expanding its machine vision portfolio to address diverse industrial and logistics needs.
The Mobile Robots Zone drew significant attention with demonstrations of Hikrobot’s QF series Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), designed for pallet handling, and the Tugger AMR, engineered for automated trolley movement in internal logistics operations. Both platforms are integrated with AI-driven fleet management systems, enabling smart navigation, real-time process optimization, and flexible deployment within dynamic warehousing environments. These robots highlight Hikrobot’s focus on addressing industry challenges such as inbound and outbound logistics, distribution, and parcel sorting.
Hikrobot also presented its Dynamic and Static DWS (Dimensioning, Weighing, and Scanning) systems, which are increasingly vital in logistics hubs for accurate parcel tracking and optimized throughput. These systems, coupled with advanced mobile robots and vision sensors, represent a new generation of solutions for smart logistics and IIoT-driven operations.
Commenting on the company’s participation, Ashish P. Dhakan, MD & CEO of Prama Hikvision India, said: “India Warehousing Show is one of the leading platforms to showcase machine vision and mobile robot solutions for the logistics and warehousing sector. The challenge for every logistics company is how to maximize the performance of supply chain processes, such as inbound, distribution, sorting, and outbound. The latest generation solutions like Autonomous Mobile Robots with domain-specific customization, AI-based fleet management, and advanced DWS systems have accelerated the real-time performance efficiency of logistics processes.”
The India Warehousing Show 2025 attracted leading brands and professionals from across warehousing, logistics, automation, and material handling sectors. With its mix of live product demos, knowledge-sharing sessions, and networking opportunities, the event provided an ideal platform for Hikrobot to reinforce its position as a leader in intelligent manufacturing and smart logistics solutions.
By showcasing cutting-edge products designed for industrial automation, logistics optimization, and IIoT applications, Hikrobot India underlined its commitment to supporting the country’s warehousing and logistics industries in achieving higher levels of efficiency, safety, and intelligentization.
