Fritz Studer AG Announces New CEO and Management Changes!

Fritz Studer AG, a leading Swiss manufacturer of precision cylindrical grinding machines, has announced a key leadership change. Effective March 1, 2025, Sandro Bottazzo, the company’s long-standing Managing Director and Chief Sales Officer (CSO), has been appointed as CEO and will also take over the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Bottazzo’s appointment marks a significant step in his long tenure with Fritz Studer AG and its parent company UNITED GRINDING Group, where he has held various prominent management positions for over 25 years. Having been part of the STUDER management team since 2018, Bottazzo brings a wealth of experience and expertise, particularly in the areas of sales, operations, and corporate strategy. His strategic vision and leadership qualities have been integral to the company’s continued growth, and with this promotion, he is poised to further advance Fritz Studer AG’s position in the precision grinding machine market.
Alongside Bottazzo’s promotion, Jens Bleher, the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Fritz Studer AG since 2018, will be transitioning to a new role. On April 1, 2025, Bleher will join the UNITED GRINDING Group Board of Directors as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Bleher’s leadership has contributed significantly to the company’s success, and his continued involvement in the UNITED GRINDING Group will ensure ongoing strategic oversight and collaboration across the organization.
