Flex intends to upskill more than 2,000 workers in Mexico annually

Flex recently inaugurated a new learning facility in Jalisco, Mexico, where the business claims it will train more than 2,000 people yearly to increase their proficiency in modern manufacturing.
This effort is to help the company’s increased automotive activities in Jalisco, Mexico in order to hasten the development of the next generation of mobility by building on the nation’s established training and skill development programs.

According to a press release from Federico Pealoza, Vice President, Automotive Operations Guadalajara, “At Flex, we’re committed to providing a work environment with growth opportunities for our employees to prosper and investing in our team members to acquire new skills, knowledge, and experiences in a constantly evolving world.”

The business will provide instruction on surface mount technology and crucial production procedures, including as robotic assembly and automated optical inspection, at the new learning facility in order to meet complicated client needs throughout the mobility ecosystem.

According to Federico Pealoza, “Our new learning center in Guadalajara will support the development of our skilled employees and expand our advanced manufacturing excellence, allowing automotive customers to accelerate innovation, advance their electric vehicle roadmaps, and enable a path towards an autonomous future.”

With a path from entry-level operator to senior technician with specialised knowledge, these development opportunities provide workers with the tools and skills to accelerate their advancement and support an atmosphere where all workers can learn and adapt.
