Danfoss expands its sensor and scroll compressor manufacturing facilities in Mexico
Danfoss will construct a new compressor and sensor manufacturing facility at its factory in Apodaca, Mexico, to satisfy cooling technology demand in the U.S. market.
The new plant will manufacture medium and large scroll compressors, pressure sensors for HVACR, and A2L leak detection sensors for residential and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning.
It is anticipated that the plant will be operational by the end of 2024, with an initial capacity of 100,000 compressor units, 1.6 million pressure sensors, and 1 million A2L leak detection sensors.
