Burton Mill Solutions has strengthened its capabilities by acquiring Oregon Industrial, a longstanding bandsaw blade weld center based in Eugene, Oregon. Known for precision tooth matching, Oregon Industrial brings nearly 90 years of expertise in bandsaw blade welding. This acquisition enhances Burton Mill Solutions’ offerings in custom cutting tools, particularly in supplying metal-cutting bands tailored to handle tough metals and abrasive materials.
By integrating Oregon Industrial’s team of expert welders and state-of-the-art equipment, Burton ensures the continued delivery of high-quality, factory-standard blades. Senior Vice President Chuck Wert expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that the addition of Oregon Industrial’s narrow band welding service will better support secondary markets in the western U.S.
Oregon Industrial will soon relocate to Burton Mill Solutions’ facility in Springfield, Oregon. This move is expected to streamline operations and benefit both current and future customers by combining resources under one roof.
