Ceratizit’s mission: pioneering sustainability in cutting tools
By Tom Skubala
If there’s one goal on everybody’s mind right now, it’s sustainability. And for Ceratizit, “sustainability is not a goal, it’s a mission!”
With an aim to become climate neutral by 2025 and have less than 5% cutting tools coming from raw materials by 2030, Ceratizit have developed their own product carbon footprint classification system. This eco-friendly initiative helps customers understand the amount of carbon involved and eventually meet their own sustainability targets. That’s not all – Ceratizit want to collect scrap from customers by paying a 10% premium on the scrap rate!
