Kays Engineering Unveils Advanced Eldorado M75-30 Gundrilling Machine with Counter-Rotation Technology
Kays Engineering is excited to announce the launch of its latest innovation, the Eldorado M75-30 gundrilling machine. This state-of-the-art machine features a custom design for its counter-rotation fixturing assembly, setting new standards in precision and efficiency in the gundrilling process.
The Eldorado M75-30’s unique fixturing assembly holds the workpiece and rotates it in the opposite direction of the gundrill rotation. According to Kays Engineering, this counter-rotation significantly enhances the accuracy of the gundrilling process. The fixture incorporates a robust gear motor assembly, which is both more powerful and durable than previous designs, ensuring reliable performance.
Key specifications of the Eldorado M75-30 include a maximum gundrilling diameter of 0.75 inches (19 mm) and a maximum drilling depth of 30 inches (762 mm). The machine’s box way design, as opposed to linear guide ways, provides superior vibration damping, resulting in extended tool life and improved surface finishes.
