Grupo Nicolás Correa (GNC) keeps strengthening his position in Asia, attending to the biggest import fair, China International Import Expo 2021 (CIIE). This event took place from the 5th to the 10th of November in Shanghai and it was promoted by the president Xi Jinping and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.

The CIIE is a very important platform for the international companies to expand across the Asian country. The goal this year was to promote the economy after COVID-19, the sustainability, and the globalization. That is why one of the key products that GNC presented was its new milling machine ORIX, destined to the wind power sector and designed specifically for super-finishes of surfaces while maintaining good dynamics and geometric precision at the tip of the tool.

The high quality and versatility of Correa’s machines have led to the signing of projects with Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Guangda Xinsheng Precision Smart Manufacturing Co., Ltd., two of China´s leading companies in manufacturing industrial components.

China is the main market for GNC, according to the financial results. The country´s industrial strength has allowed an increase in the number of orders during the first trimester of 2021, achieving the inversion levels before the pandemic. Despite the Chinese and the European competence, Grupo Nicolás Correa keeps securing its position in the region, being a reference supplier on import milling machines, specifically in big size ones.
