Methods Machine Tools is proud to announce the promotion of David Chesnutt to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales. Chesnutt, who has been with Methods since 1991, most recently served as the General Manager of the company’s Southeast territory. In his new role, he will oversee all national product sales through Methods’ direct offices and dealer network.

David Chesnutt joined Methods following a direct sales transition in the Southeast region, initiated by then-CEO Clem McIver Sr. Initially managing the Florida office and serving as Nakamura-Tome Product Manager, Chesnutt has built a formidable team in the Charlotte office and established a strong customer network throughout the Southeast.

“David is an experienced and enthusiastic sales leader who has delivered customer success throughout his career in the machine tools industry,” says Rick Alton, Methods’ Chief Executive Officer. “His successful sales record, support of countless customers, and machining expertise have earned him industry-wide respect. David is the right person to lead our salesforce and help our customers succeed in our evolving industry.”

“For more than 65 years, Methods has provided world-class machine tools, the best engineering and automation, and a commitment to customer service that runs deep through every part of our business — and we will not slow down,” Chesnutt says. “I am passionate about building on our legacy to benefit today’s manufacturers and those who will follow.”
