New vertical turning machine from KENYOU offers turning, milling, and grinding capabilities

As part of the VISION WIDE Group, KENYOU have a fantastic new vertical turning machine on display at TIMTOS! Colin Griffiths of MTDCNC and Sandy Cheng of KENYOU discuss the 1660 GC that combines turning, milling, and grinding functions with loads of flexibility for complex components. The rigid machine offers high stiffness and torque, making it excellent for big depths of cut up to 10 mm per side in difficult materials. The standard 1.6-meter rotary table can be combined with the front column to give up to 5 meters. Primarily for high-end aerospace components, the machine offers 37 turning tools and 24 milling tools.
