Presto Engineering on automation with the ROBOJOB from Hydrafeed

Tom Skubala of MTDCNC is with James Lay of Presto Engineering to discuss their move towards automation. James talks about their genuine need of automation due to long running jobs that would go on for 2 or 3 weeks, leading to longer lead times. Their decision to invest in the ROBOJOB from Hydrafeed was a fantastic move, offering ease of use, great software, and excellent service and support to produce complex parts with tight tolerances. The natural progression from no automation to having automation has been incredible for their family-run business, giving Presto more confidence in Hydrafeed’s solutions. Presto started about 30 years ago in a shed with one machine and have now grown the business that focuses on CNC machining of precision aluminium parts.
