WENZEL UK sees the opening of its new Technology Centre in Coalville in the East Midlands as being a positive step in its growth plans. The new centre houses the latest advancements in measurement technology including the new Wenzel shop floor CMM – the SF87 and the medium size computed tomography system – the exaCT M225 with a high powered 225kV X-ray source.
Managing Director David Taylor is pleased to be a part of the next step in WENZEL’s growth, stating: “The new Technology Centre launch is what WENZEL UK has been waiting for. 2020 was a difficult year for most businesses and with time to plan, our team have been busy working on providing a better platform for our customers to see, touch and trial our latest metrology machines. In my opinion, the measurement solutions we provide are unparalleled. Our German parent company has been manufacturing machines for over 50 years and we now have a place to showcase the quality of our products to the UK audience.”
Joseph Brennan who is the Technical Sales Manager for WENZEL UK is also excited about the launch, saying: “We have already held a UK virtual open day and we have planned face to face demonstrations for the first time. COVID has been an awful time for everybody, and online demonstrations are a positive, but not as good as face to face. Now is the time to be positive and customers are, for the first time, able to spend time with the machines and their parts in a live environment to see the benefits for themselves. To ensure safety, we have strict COVID protection measures with social distancing and extra steps to prevent contamination and the spreading of the virus.”
