It has already been a busy start to the Farnborough International Airshow, with plenty of visitors joining us to discuss the latest developments in aerospace manufacturing.
Throughout this week, Starrag is showcasing its extensive machine tool portfolio for the production of some of the aerospace industry’s most demanding components, including blisks, engine casings, turbine blades, impellers, and titanium and aluminium structural parts.

A major talking point is the Starrag S1250 HD 5-axis machining centre, which recently achieved what Starrag believes to be a world-best titanium material removal rate of 1,516 cm³/min in Ti6Al4V.

Visitors can also explore components, videos and virtual reality experiences highlighting technologies from across the Starrag portfolio, including the STC series, Heckert X-series, Dörries vertical turning centres and Droop+Rein gantry machining solutions.
There is still plenty of time to visit us this week.
