MTDCNC recently got an invite from TDT Machine Tools to investigate their recent installation of a KAFO double column KMC3127. This machine had a X axis of 3000mm, Y axis of 2700mm and an impressive 700mm Z axis. Also included is a 5 degree indexing head. The machine is well built with a cast iron construction with larger ball screws with internal cooling. The turnkey also included a Renishaw probe and Tecnomagnete S.p.A. magnetic workholding which has 41 tonnes clamping force.
