EB Motorsport, Haas Automation, Classic Racing Porsches, WOW!

If you race a Porsche 911 or have a classic Porsche you’ve probably heard of EB Motorsports, if you haven’t you need to watch this video: one for engineering petrolheads everywhere. Mark Bates from EB Motorsports gives MTDCNC’s Lyndsey a guided tour of their machine shop and shows her some of the amazing work they are doing. EB Motorsport started out manufacturing farm machinery 60 years ago and got into restoring classic Porsches as a hobby. Using their Haas UMC 750 5 Axis Machining Centre and Haas ST10Y Mill Turn Lathe EB Motorsport are producing incredible replacement parts and repairs to engines & gearboxes from exotic materials and extremely difficult to machine materials. Using HyperMILL software and Renishaw probing they are able to reverse engineer parts and effect repairs to damaged items. All this has been achieved with the help & support of Haas and when the time comes for new investment in CNC machines they will defiantly go with Haas Automation. A must watch video.
