A new launch at EMO 2017 from Mapal is their HPR 400+ (high performance reamer). Wayne Whitehouse (MD – Mapal UK) explains to MTDCNC that the tool offers the ability for the client to change the inserts so the tool is always on the shop floor. This reduces the cost for the client per piece and Mapal can offer solutions from 28mm up to 300mm. The performance and surface finishing is first class and is a great edition to the Mapal portfolio for our clients.
