With its unique thermal control system patented by Parpas, separate air conditioning modules for the left hand column, right hand column, gantry & ram allow the Speedliner to maintain a very impressive figure of + and – 20 microns volumetric accuracy. Although the guys are standing in a 6 metre long, 3.2 metre wide & 1.5 metres high machine, Gruppo Parpas can build you a huge machine, up to 30 metres long, 5 metres wide & 2 metres high. With spindle speeds from 15,000rpm to 30,000rpm and HSK 63 or HSK 100 spindles this really is a beast of a machine for some serious engineering.
