TaeguTec Chases Perfect Milling Performance with New ChaseMIll Inserts

The industry leading ChaseMill series of milling tools from TaeguTec has now been extended with the introduction of two new insert designations. The arrival of the new APCT 17-ML and APCT 17-ML have been introduced to improve performance on a vast array of material types and machining applications.

The new ground APCT 1705 PER-ML insert grade is characterised by its sharp helical cutting edge geometry that demonstrates excellent performance with regards to tool life and machining performance. The new insert achieves this whilst improving surface finishes, especially on challenging materials where it minimises built-up-edges. For existing APKT 17 insert users looking to improve precision and surface finish, the APCT 1705 PER-ML is an outstanding alternative. The new designation is available in TaeguTec’s coated TT9080 and TT8080 grades

For aluminium machining, TaeguTec has introduced the APCT 1705 PER-AL line. This optimally designed insert has a ground cutting edge on the main face and wiper edge. This delivers excellent performance with higher precision and better surface finishes than conventional inserts. The uncoated K10 insert grade is the insert of choice for all your aluminium machining applications.
