Zoomlion has swiftly transformed its business model in overseas markets, blending a global mindset with local adaptation while embracing digitalization to optimize strategic operations, thus amplifying its global footprint.
In 2022, Zoomlion witnessed a remarkable surge in sales revenue in Belt and Road Initiative countries, soaring by over 100 percent year-on-year. Furthermore, its overseas revenue in the first quarter of 2023 surged by an impressive 123 percent year-on-year.
End-to-end digital management has been a key strategy for Zoomlion, facilitating seamless information sharing and real-time monitoring through IoT technology, bolstering operational efficiency.
The establishment of an all-encompassing business platform, dubbed the “port,” has revolutionized logistics and service operations for international endeavors. Local employees form the backbone of ground teams, ensuring effective communication with customers and providing tailored services. Technical engineers work closely to develop customized products catering to local market demands.
Zoomlion has also made significant strides in localized manufacturing and supply chain management, with steady growth seen in overseas production facilities, including an industrial park in Belarus and a factory in Brazil, which has nearly doubled its output.
With R&D centers, manufacturing bases, and marketing networks spanning 125 countries and regions, Zoomlion’s products are now available in over 130 countries across seven continents. The company operates more than 30 subsidiaries and 10 production bases worldwide, exemplifying its global reach and impact.
Taner Çoklu, CEO of 312 Insaat Construction Company from Turkey, expressed gratitude for Zoomlion’s support and flexibility, highlighting the use of Zoomlion tower cranes in a housing construction project following an earthquake in Turkey.
