WTO Inc. has announced the grand opening of its new North American headquarters, scheduled for September 10, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The celebration marks a significant milestone in the company’s 30 years of service to the North American market and underscores its long-term commitment to providing precision tooling solutions and customer support in the region.
The newly constructed 22,000-square-foot facility is designed to serve as a hub for sales, service, and training. It houses modern offices, a fully equipped factory-operated service center, an expansive warehouse for inventory, and a state-of-the-art showroom. The service center will be staffed by four factory-trained technicians, capable of performing rebuilds and maintenance on driven toolholders, regardless of brand. This localized service is expected to significantly improve turnaround times for U.S. customers and ensure reliable, high-quality support.
By consolidating sales, service, and training functions under one roof, WTO is positioning the Charlotte headquarters as a central resource for manufacturers across North America. One of the most notable benefits for U.S. customers is the availability of a large local inventory of products and parts. This ensures fast delivery, minimizes downtime, and provides manufacturers with greater flexibility in managing their tooling requirements.
In addition to warehousing and service capabilities, the new showroom is a highlight of the facility. It has been designed to host live demonstrations, training sessions, and application support. Customers will be able to gain hands-on experience with WTO products, learn about optimal application methods, and receive training directly from technical specialists. This reflects WTO’s focus on empowering manufacturers not only with precision tools but also with the knowledge and expertise to maximize their performance.
Sascha Tschiggfrei, CEO and president of WTO, emphasized the significance of the opening, noting that the headquarters reflects the company’s steady growth and long-term dedication to the U.S. market. “Our new headquarters reflects our continued growth and dedication to serving customers in North America with fast response times, quality and professional after-sales support our customers expect from a global market leader,” Tschiggfrei said.
For WTO, this expansion also signals a broader strategy of deepening customer engagement in North America. By providing direct local support through its team of product specialists, the company aims to strengthen relationships with manufacturers across all U.S. regions. The headquarters will also serve as a platform for introducing new products and technologies into the market more quickly and efficiently.
The grand opening event in September will welcome customers, partners, and industry representatives to tour the facility and experience its capabilities firsthand. Attendees will be able to meet with WTO specialists, view demonstrations in the showroom, and learn how the facility will enhance their access to tooling solutions and services.
As WTO celebrates three decades in the North American market, the Charlotte headquarters represents both a culmination of its journey and a launchpad for future growth. By combining advanced facilities, local expertise, and a commitment to fast, reliable service, WTO is reinforcing its position as a trusted partner to manufacturers and a leader in the global tooling industry.
