Women in Manufacturing Celebrates 15 Years of Empowering Women in the Industry!

The Women in Manufacturing Association (WiM) is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025, marking a milestone in its mission to support, promote, and inspire women in the manufacturing sector. Since its inception in 2010, WiM has grown into a global community dedicated to fostering leadership and career development for women in what has traditionally been a male-dominated field.
Over the past 15 years, WiM has achieved significant milestones that highlight its impact:
- Membership Growth: Now comprising over 31,000 members worldwide, representing diverse industries across the manufacturing spectrum.
- Expanding Chapters: With 33 chapters across the U.S., WiM provides extensive networking and educational opportunities for its members.
- Global Reach: The launch of the International Women’s Network has fostered leadership development for women in manufacturing on a global scale.
Looking ahead, WiM is committed to advancing its initiatives to promote inclusivity and diversity in manufacturing:
- Fostering Allies: Increasing collaboration with organizations and individuals supporting equity and diversity in the manufacturing space.
- Global Expansion: Enhancing international programs to create leadership opportunities for rising talent worldwide.
