TVS Motor Rolls Out Next-Gen Electric Three-Wheeler for Urban Logistics

TVS Motor Company has unveiled the TVS King Kargo HD EV, a next-generation electric three-wheeler developed to meet the growing needs of urban and semi-urban logistics. Designed with a balance of performance, reliability, and advanced technology, the new model marks a significant milestone in TVS Motor’s strategy to drive sustainable mobility solutions for India’s fast-expanding last-mile delivery ecosystem. Alongside the electric model, the company also showcased the TVS King Kargo HD CNG variant, which is expected to hit the market before the end of 2025, offering customers an alternative clean fuel option.
The TVS King Kargo HD EV has been engineered to meet the demands of businesses engaged in last-mile delivery, where efficiency, safety, and comfort are equally important. The vehicle features a robust design that ensures durability, while its advanced technology offers operators a superior user experience. Key highlights include LED headlamps for better visibility, a spacious and ergonomic cabin for enhanced comfort, stylish door trims, and a dedicated Power Gear Mode for heavy load conditions. Safety has been addressed through twin-axis rear-view mirrors that provide improved visibility, enabling operators to navigate urban traffic with greater ease.
One of the most notable aspects of the new three-wheeler is its connectivity. The TVS King Kargo HD EV is India’s first Bluetooth-enabled three-wheeled cargo vehicle, equipped with the company’s TVS SmartXonnect platform. This system offers 26 smart features that range from trip analytics and service reminders to driver behavior monitoring, all aimed at improving operational efficiency and vehicle reliability. By bringing these advanced digital features into the cargo segment, TVS Motor has taken a step toward redefining customer expectations in the three-wheeler category.
The company has also integrated the vehicle with TVS Connect Fleet, a web-based platform that provides fleet operators with full control and visibility over their operations. The platform includes 31 advanced features such as real-time tracking, remote asset control, intelligent dashboards, and a wide range of alerts, reports, and APIs. This integration ensures fleet managers can optimize vehicle utilization, reduce downtime, and make data-driven decisions to enhance business efficiency. For logistics operators managing multiple vehicles across cities, such digital tools can translate into significant cost savings and improved service delivery.

The TVS King Kargo HD EV is priced at Rs. 3.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will initially be available in key markets including Delhi, NCR, Rajasthan, and Bengaluru. With this launch, TVS Motor is not only expanding its commercial mobility portfolio but also reinforcing its commitment to developing sustainable, technology-driven solutions that address the evolving needs of India’s logistics and transportation ecosystem.
