Setco Spindles India Exports Spindles To South Korea!

Setco Spindles India, part of the world-renowned spindle solutions provider Setco, announced the successful dispatch of its first commercial export order to a machine tool OEM in South Korea. This milestone order consists of three BT 50 spindles specifically designed for drilling applications, operating at 3000 RPM. The order, following a rigorous five-month trial of prototype spindles, underscores Setco’s commitment to delivering high-quality, customized solutions tailored to the demands of global OEMs.

In its pursuit of excellence, Setco Spindles India recently enhanced its manufacturing capabilities by installing a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and implementing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program as of March 2024. Currently, the facility produces around 70-80 spindles monthly, covering both belt-driven and direct-drive models for various OEMs.
This achievement represents a significant step forward for the Indian machine tool industry, traditionally led by Taiwanese and Chinese manufacturers. Further expanding its global reach, Setco Spindles India is now fulfilling a 20-spindle order for Setco USA, destined for a U.S.-based OEM, reinforcing its position as a trusted global leader in spindle technology.
