Schneider Electric has formed a strategic collaboration with South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. (SBPDCL) to revamp Bihar’s power distribution system, marking a major step toward delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions for the state.
As Bihar faced growing energy demands, SBPDCL was confronted with the challenge of maintaining stable and uninterrupted power distribution. The urgency to modernize the electrical grid and improve operational management became critical to meet these escalating needs.

As a result, power reliability has improved by 90%, energy consumption has been reduced by up to 80%, and operational costs have decreased by 60%. Additionally, the partnership has led to a 70% reduction in engineering costs and time, optimizing overall operational efficiency.
