Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division has announced a strategic partnership with Prosper Machine Tool to expand the reach of its advanced metrology and digital manufacturing technologies across the Central and Southwestern United States. This collaboration will cover manufacturers in North and Central Texas, Arizona, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and North Louisiana, giving companies in these regions direct access to Hexagon’s cutting-edge inspection systems and simulation software alongside Prosper’s trusted, localized service.
Prosper Machine Tool, a family-owned company with more than a decade of experience in the machine tool industry, has built its reputation on providing hands-on support and customer-focused solutions. With this new partnership, the company will now extend its expertise into metrology by launching the Prosper Metrology Group, led by Ken Lambert. This division is dedicated to delivering Hexagon’s precision measurement technologies to regional manufacturers facing increasing production complexity, a rising demand for automation, and ongoing workforce skill shortages.
“Our decision to partner with Hexagon represents a bold leap forward for Prosper Machine Tool,” said Greg Kinney, Owner of Prosper Machine Tool. “Metrology and machining complement each other perfectly, and by integrating Hexagon’s technology with Prosper’s trusted service, we’re empowering manufacturers with robust, turnkey solutions designed for precision and efficiency.”
The Prosper Metrology Group will provide turnkey solutions aimed at reducing defect rates, streamlining inspection processes, and optimizing overall production efficiency. The initiative also includes collaboration with Innovative Measuring Systems (IMS), based in Phoenix, Arizona, which joins as a Hexagon Value Added Representative. IMS will strengthen regional support by offering sales, service, and spare parts expertise to Hexagon customers across Arizona, leveraging its team of experienced measurement professionals to provide reliable, on-the-ground assistance.
The partnership also expands access to Hexagon’s leading software portfolio. Prosper Machine Tool will now offer tools such as Simufact Welding and Volume Graphics, which enable manufacturers to simulate, analyze, and validate production processes more efficiently. In addition, customers will benefit from Hexagon’s renowned physical measurement solutions, including the Absolute Arm Portable Coordinate Measurement Machine, which provides unmatched precision, reduces inspection time, and helps eliminate bottlenecks in production workflows.
“Hexagon is proud to join forces with Prosper Machine Tool,” said Paul Rogers, President, Americas and Asia Pacific, Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division. “Prosper brings a wealth of industry expertise and regional trust, making them the ideal partner to expand Hexagon’s footprint across the Central and Southwestern U.S. Together, we’re committed to delivering smarter manufacturing solutions and exceptional service to our customers.”
With a strong focus on aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, and general manufacturing sectors, the Prosper Metrology Group is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing regional competitiveness. The initiative will be supported by additional hiring and deployment of new technical resources, ensuring that manufacturers receive timely assistance tailored to their unique production challenges. By combining Hexagon’s global technology leadership with Prosper’s customer-centric approach, the collaboration is set to raise the bar for manufacturing accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence across seven states.
This partnership reaffirms both companies’ shared commitment to enabling manufacturers to thrive in an era of digital transformation, automation, and Industry 4.0. For Prosper Machine Tool, the launch of Prosper Metrology Group represents a milestone in its journey to provide customers with complete, future-ready manufacturing solutions.
