Praj Industries Appoints Ashish Gaikwad as Managing Director-Designate

Praj Industries has announced the appointment of Ashish Gaikwad as Managing Director-Designate, succeeding Shishir Joshipura, who is set to step down on June 30, 2025. In his new role, Gaikwad will work closely with teams across the organization to ensure a seamless leadership transition.
Bringing over 34 years of experience, Gaikwad is an expert in industrial automation, digitalization, process technology, renewable energy transition, artificial intelligence, and autonomous manufacturing. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Electrical & Electronics from BITS Pilani, India.
Before joining Praj Industries, Gaikwad led Honeywell Automation India Ltd. for over seven years, holding key leadership positions across India, Southeast Asia, Asia Pacific, and the US. His expertise spans engineering, sales, strategy, operations, and corporate governance, making him well-positioned to drive Praj Industries’ innovation and growth in the evolving industrial landscape.
