Bluco has introduced WeldSpace 4.0, a collaborative welding solution designed to simplify and accelerate the adoption of robotic welding. Developed by Demmeler and offered exclusively in North America through Bluco, the system is positioned as a true plug-and-play package. Instead of the traditional integration process that can take months, manufacturers can begin running automated welding operations within days, dramatically reducing barriers to automation.

At its core, WeldSpace 4.0 integrates leading-edge components into a single, ready-to-use system. It comes equipped with a Fronius welding power source, a FANUC collaborative robot arm, a built-in Bluco D28 welding table, and an optional two-axis positioner. By combining these elements into one cohesive unit, the system eliminates the need for manufacturers to separately source, integrate, and calibrate individual components. This approach ensures that the machine arrives as a complete turnkey solution, allowing even small and mid-sized manufacturers to access high-performance welding automation.

One of the system’s defining features is its dual-sided design with a sliding gantry enclosure. This configuration allows operators to safely set up workpieces on one side while the cobot performs welding tasks on the other. The result is continuous operation that maximizes productivity while maintaining strict safety standards. The collaborative nature of the FANUC cobot arm ensures ease of programming and interaction, making the system user-friendly even for operators without extensive robotics experience.
