MK Products Acquires Tec Welding Products to Expand Product Line!

MK Products Inc., a family-owned and operated welding equipment manufacturer based in Irvine, California, has announced the acquisition of Tec Welding Products Inc., a San Marcos-based manufacturer specializing in TIG torches and accessories. This strategic acquisition will enhance MK Products’ portfolio, particularly in the area of TIG welding, and expand its range of offerings to customers.
MK Products is well known for its Cobra welding systems, which include MIG push-pull guns, wire feeders, power supplies, spool guns, turntables, orbital power supplies, and weld heads. The addition of Tec Welding Products, which offers a variety of established brands such as WeldTec, Speedway, i-Head, Rocker, Twister, Heliweld, and TEC, complements MK Products’ existing line and provides a broader selection of products and systems for customers.
By acquiring Tec Welding Products, MK Products strengthens its position in the welding equipment market and is now able to offer an even more comprehensive suite of solutions for its customers, especially in the TIG welding segment. This acquisition will also enhance MK Products’ ability to serve its diverse customer base, providing them with more options and advanced technology in welding equipment.
