Micro Celebrates 80 Years of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing!

Micro, a leading medical-device contract manufacturer, is proud to commemorate its 80th anniversary. Since its founding in 1945 as Micro Stamping Corp. in Maplewood, NJ, the family-owned company has grown into an industry leader specializing in precision medical components, subassemblies, and complete devices for laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgical procedures.
From its early days producing precision metal stampings for electrical contacts in the vacuum tube industry, Micro has evolved to meet the demands of cutting-edge medical technologies. Today, the company operates out of a 200,000 sq. ft. facility in Somerset, NJ, which includes a dedicated R&D center and cleanroom assembly area. With over 450 employees, Micro continues to innovate and adapt to the rapidly advancing medical device industry.
