Magna International Expands Operations in South Carolina!

Magna International, a leading global supplier in the automotive sector, is making a significant investment to expand its operations in South Carolina. The company has announced plans to establish a new satellite facility and enhance its existing operation in Piedmont, South Carolina, with a combined investment of $200 million. This strategic move is expected to create approximately 200 jobs, further strengthening the local economy.

The new facility will span 625,000 square feet and is set to begin operations in the first quarter of 2025. This state-of-the-art satellite location is designed to meet increasing market demands while showcasing Magna’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

In addition to the new facility, Magna is expanding its current operations in Piedmont. The expansion will increase production capacity and streamline processes, enabling the company to maintain its leadership position in the automotive supply chain.

Both locations will focus on producing automotive components for a variety of vehicles, including cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles. This diversification ensures Magna’s readiness to cater to the evolving needs of the global automotive market.
