Heule has unveiled its latest innovation, the GH-K tooling, engineered to deliver precision chatter-free countersinks ranging from 3 mm to 45 mm (0.118 to 1.771 inches). Designed for a wide range of materials, the tool provides exceptional performance in both manual and CNC applications. It is particularly suitable for machining cast iron, steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous materials, with optional HSS-Cobalt coated blades available for steel and stainless steel.
The GH-K tooling stands out due to its positive geometry, which ensures high-shear cutting action. The inclusion of carbide blades enhances its cutting efficiency and durability. Additionally, the tooling’s design minimizes deviation, as all inserts are ground as a set and serialized. This precision engineering allows the blades to cut simultaneously, significantly reducing chatter and improving surface finish.
Available in sizes ranging from 3 mm to 45 mm, the GH-K tooling supports countersinking at 60, 82, 90, and 100-degree angles. This makes it a versatile solution for conventional milling of chamfers around the perimeter of larger holes or even entire parts. With its advanced design, Heule’s GH-K tooling is poised to meet the needs of modern machining centers and deliver high-quality results with efficiency and precision.
