FPT Appoints ABES as Its First Authorised Distributor in India!

FPT Industrial has appointed AB Engineering and Systems Private Ltd (ABES) as its first authorised distributor in India, marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion strategy. The partnership was officially announced during an inauguration event in Chennai, where FPT also showcased its F28 engine, designed to meet the evolving needs of India’s construction and agricultural sectors.
ABES, known for its rapid growth in industrial automation and engineering, will now represent FPT’s advanced range of engines under its new brand, AB POWER. The collaboration strengthens FPT’s presence in India by enabling OEM partnerships, enhanced customer support, and wider market coverage across off-road, power generation, and marine applications.
The Chennai inauguration featured traditional ceremonies, followed by the presentation of FPT’s official authorisation certificate to ABES. During the event, the F28 engine was introduced as a high-performance, emission-compliant solution for off-road applications, adhering to Bharat Stage CEV V standards. Attendees had the opportunity to experience the engine’s versatility, compact design, and efficiency firsthand.
Eugenia Valente, Vice President of FPT for Asia & ANZ, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership, stating:
