Fleetguard Filters Private Limited (FFPL), a Pune-based leader in filtration solutions for on- and off-highway applications, has been recognised with the prestigious Best CSR Project of the Year 2025 award at the 14th edition of the Corporate Social Responsibility Summit & Awards hosted by UBS Forums. The ceremony, held in Chennai on August 26, 2025, celebrated organisations making a significant difference through purposeful social initiatives.
FFPL was honoured for its Clean Drinking Water & Sanitation Projects, which have positively impacted nearly 60,000 people across Pune in Maharashtra, Hosur in Tamil Nadu, Sitarganj in Uttarakhand, and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. These initiatives were launched to address long-standing challenges related to access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation facilities in underserved communities. Over the past two years, FFPL has installed several reverse osmosis (R.O.) plants to provide clean water, along with hand-wash stations and toilets in schools and villages. These improvements have directly enhanced public health, reduced waterborne diseases, and improved hygiene awareness, especially among schoolchildren.
The award was presented by Chief Guest Siddhartha Daga, Chief Impact Officer at Neomotion, to FFPL’s representatives Avinash Mane, Deputy General Manager – HR & IR, and Priyanka Chavan, Assistant Manager – CSR. Their presence at the event underscored the company’s deep commitment to embedding social responsibility as a core aspect of its business philosophy.
For Fleetguard Filters, this recognition is part of a long-standing tradition of investing in community-focused programmes. The company’s CSR efforts extend beyond water and sanitation, covering areas such as education, health and safety, rural development, environmental sustainability, and the promotion of art and culture. By focusing on these critical pillars, FFPL has consistently contributed to holistic development in the regions where it operates.
Commenting on the achievement, company representatives highlighted that CSR at Fleetguard is not treated as an obligation but as an extension of its responsibility toward society. The Clean Drinking Water & Sanitation Projects in particular have been transformative, offering long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes. By ensuring access to safe drinking water and sanitation, the initiatives have empowered communities, improved school attendance rates—especially for young girls—and contributed to healthier, more resilient villages.
UBS Forums, the organiser of the summit, is widely regarded as a platform for knowledge sharing, best practices, and business excellence. Its Corporate Social Responsibility Summit & Awards programme is designed to recognise and honour organisations that create measurable social impact through innovative and purpose-driven initiatives. This year’s awards once again spotlighted companies that go beyond profit-making to deliver tangible improvements in the quality of life for local communities.
The recognition of Fleetguard Filters’ efforts reinforces the growing importance of sustainable development as a cornerstone of business strategy in India. As expectations rise for companies to play a proactive role in addressing social and environmental challenges, FFPL’s award-winning initiative serves as a model for how corporates can align business success with meaningful community impact.
With this honour, Fleetguard Filters Pvt. Ltd has reaffirmed its position as not only a trusted manufacturer of filtration solutions but also a socially responsible corporate citizen dedicated to making a lasting difference in people’s lives.
