Ficodis Group Acquires Berliss Bearing Company: Expanding Horizons in the U.S. Market!

Ficodis Group’s recent acquisition of Berliss Bearing Company is a strategic move aimed at expanding its influence in the U.S. market. Berliss, a long-standing company founded in 1932, has built a strong reputation for manufacturing and distributing roller bearings, mechanical seals, and custom-engineered bearing products. Their products serve key sectors, including agriculture and recreational vehicles, and are renowned for their engineering excellence and innovative solutions.
This acquisition allows Berliss to extend its product line into Canada, while Ficodis strengthens its presence in the United States, particularly in serving Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). By joining Ficodis, Berliss gains access to a broader distribution network and expands its reach to new markets. Ficodis, known for its power transmission components and industrial solutions, will integrate Berliss’ capabilities to offer a wider range of engineered products, enhancing its service to both Canadian and U.S. clients.
Christophe Bévillard, president of Ficodis Group, emphasized that the acquisition would offer tailored solutions to manufacturers across North America. Daryl Rubinstein of Berliss shared his enthusiasm about the partnership, seeing it as an opportunity to expand both vertically and geographically, ensuring the legacy of the family business continues to grow under the Ficodis umbrella.
The acquisition also marks Ficodis’ second major U.S. deal this year, following the purchase of LNR Tools and Supplies from Long Island, New York. With this strategic move, Ficodis is further solidifying its position as a leading supplier of modern, high-quality industrial products across North America.
This latest development is expected to enhance both companies’ abilities to deliver innovative solutions and to support the manufacturing sector’s evolving needs, strengthening their market position in the years ahead.
