Eaton, a global power management technology provider, has announced plans to expand its operations in Jonesville, South Carolina, with a significant $340 million investment. This expansion will lead to the creation of 700 new jobs and the establishment of a new manufacturing facility focused on the production of three-phase transformers.

The new 861,000-square-foot facility will mark Eaton’s 11th location in South Carolina and its third manufacturing plant dedicated to three-phase transformers in the United States. The investment aligns with Eaton’s continued commitment to advancing its manufacturing capabilities and strengthening its position in the power management industry.

Production at the new plant is slated to begin in 2027, with hiring efforts ramping up as the facility prepares to come online. This expansion underscores Eaton’s focus on meeting the growing demand for advanced power management solutions and furthering its contribution to the local economy.
