CNH Strengthens Aftermarket Network with New Dedicated Parts Centre in Pune!
By Ashutosh Arora
CNH, a global leader in agricultural and construction equipment, has further expanded its footprint in India with the establishment of a new dedicated parts distribution centre near its Pune manufacturing plant. This strategic investment strengthens the company’s aftermarket network and reinforces its commitment to providing faster, more efficient, and more reliable service support to customers in the Southern and Western regions of the country. These regions are among India’s most prominent agricultural hubs, making timely access to parts and service a crucial factor for ensuring seamless farming operations.
The new distribution centre is designed to support a wide range of components for CNH’s crop-focused equipment, including Case IH sugarcane harvesters and New Holland combine harvesters and balers. As these machines play a vital role in large-scale farming and mechanised harvesting, any delay in parts availability can significantly affect productivity and harvest outcomes. By locating the parts centre close to both the manufacturing facility and major agricultural zones, CNH aims to reduce lead times, enhance dealer responsiveness, and support uninterrupted operation for farmers and contractors.
A key highlight of the Pune facility is its integration of advanced RFID-based systems for tracking, accuracy, and inventory efficiency. This technology enables precise, real-time monitoring of stock levels and helps streamline the flow of parts across CNH’s extensive regional dealer network. The improved transparency and traceability not only reduce the risk of errors but also ensure quicker turnaround times for urgent service requests. With this addition, Pune becomes CNH’s fourth major parts distribution centre in India, complementing similar infrastructure in Noida, Indore, and Sikanderabad (Uttar Pradesh).
Commenting on the launch, Narinder Mittal, President and Managing Director of CNH India, emphasised that the new centre reflects CNH’s long-term commitment to enhancing customer experience. He noted that the Southern and Western regions of India are significant sugarcane-producing belts, and uninterrupted equipment operations during harvesting season are essential to maintaining productivity. By expanding the company’s parts ecosystem in Pune, CNH aims to offer more responsive, reliable, and technologically advanced support to its customers and dealer partners.
The facility also aligns with CNH’s global sustainability goals. It incorporates eco-friendly packaging practices and energy-efficient building infrastructure, reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmentally responsible operations. From reduced wastage to optimised energy usage, the sustainability-driven design helps minimise the environmental footprint of the aftermarket supply chain. Additionally, CNH has partnered with DHL Supply Chain for logistics support, ensuring dependable and on-time deliveries to dealers and end-users across both regions.
For more than 25 years, CNH has been a major contributor to India’s agricultural and construction machinery landscape through its “Made in India” operations. The company’s brands—Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment—are supported by CNH Capital and its Global Technology Center, enabling comprehensive solutions across equipment manufacturing, financing, and innovation. The new Pune parts distribution centre stands as another significant milestone in CNH’s journey to reinforce local service excellence, strengthen its dealer network, and support the growing demands of Indian agriculture with global standards of reliability and performance.
