AVEVA has appointed Arti Garg as its new Chief Technologist, marking a strategic step to strengthen the company’s leadership in industrial software and technology innovation. This appointment highlights AVEVA’s ongoing commitment to advancing future-facing technologies in the industrial sector.

In her new role, Arti will focus on defining the company’s long-term technology strategies, with particular emphasis on integrating emerging technologies like Generative AI into industrial manufacturing and critical infrastructure. Her efforts will aim to meet the evolving needs of AVEVA’s customers while aligning with the company’s long-term business objectives.

Arti brings a wealth of expertise to the position, having previously led Technology Strategy & Evaluation at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. She has held key data science leadership roles in both the computing and industrial sectors, and her experience extends to working with the U.S. government. Arti holds a PhD in Physics from Harvard University and a Master’s in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University.

Rob McGreevy, Chief Product Officer at AVEVA, expressed enthusiasm over the appointment, noting Arti’s pivotal role in helping AVEVA stay at the cutting edge of technology. Arti, in turn, expressed her excitement about advancing AVEVA’s tradition of innovation in industrial automation and infrastructure development.
