Okuma America Corp., a manufacturer of CNC machine tools, controls, and automation systems, has been named a 2023 Top Workplace in two categories: manufacturing and salary and benefits. Top Workplaces, an employer recognition organisation, bestowed these honours.
Okuma America Corp. is one of 60 top employers in the manufacturing business in the United States, employing 150 to 499 people. The company has also been recognised as a top employer for wages and benefits for enterprises with 150 to 499 employees across the country.
The Top Workplace selections were made based on employee feedback from participating firms. Okuma members were invited to participate in an anonymous employee engagement survey in the spring of 2023, which solicited comments on a variety of themes relating to job happiness and business culture. Nearly 80% of Okuma employees responded to the poll, exceeding the required 35% participation percentage to be recognised for the award. The findings were then compared to those of other participating organisations, with the highest-scoring companies earning the title of Top Workplace.
