We are counting down the days until EMO takes place in October and will take place in Milan, Italy and has certainly been a long time coming with the pandemic. One of our principals, Gruppo Parpas, will be attending the exhibition and showcasing three prestigious machine tools. One of the machines that will be showcased is the MANTA, a movable column machine with rotary table, that offers manufacturers high-quality and high-speed machining.
The MANTA will be demonstrated at the show for manufacturers to see its potential and many advantages. The machine specification includes –

* Spindle Speed – 12,000 rpm
* Rotary Table – Ø700mm

* Control System – Heidenhain TNC640
The Heidenhain 640 control includes Dynamic Collision Monitoring which prevents accidental collisions between the components of the machine tool. The Kinematic function independently measures the rotary axes using a probing cycle and the CNC control automatically compensates the machine static accuracy and axes orientation, storing the geometry of the machine in a kinematics table.
