Meggitt PLC signs landmark contract with Batam Aero Technic (member of Lion Air Group) for the supply of MRO services in Asia

Meggitt PLC, a leading international company specialising in high-performance components and subsystems for the aerospace, defence, and selected energy markets, has secured a 3-year contract with Batam Aero Technic (a member of Lion Air Group) for the supply of maintenance and repair services on fire extinguishers for Boeing 737 Aircraft.

This landmark contract is the first with Lion Air Group, Indonesia’s largest low-cost airline, operating a fleet of 185 Boeing 737 aircraft.

Adrian Plevin, Senior Vice President, Services & Support at Meggitt said, “We are delighted to have been selected to supply Lion Air Group with repair services for our FireEx products, All repairs will be carried at our Asian MRO Centre of Excellence in Singapore, ensuring we provide in-region world-class levels of service and technical support.”
