Ceratizit shows new range of tool holding, workholding, and vending solutions
In today’s video, we find out more about Ceratizit’s tool holding and workholding solutions that were on display at MACH 2022. Ceratizit showcased a range of solutions including their Centro P toolholder, a fantastic high-performance tool for accuracy and best results when it comes to drilling and milling. Managing Director Tony Pennington says Ceratizit usually gets their customers to upgrade from standard tools to Centro P.
Also on display was their Pentron drill for which there’s a live demonstration video on YouTube and MTDCNC’s channel. In terms of workholding solutions, Ceratizit uniquely offers complete support with their technical sales engineers who look at each component to develop something that fits the requirements. The company is known for its vending solutions and currently has 450 vending machines out with customers. Tony says that these machines are great for anyone with a machine shop or those who need a consistent supply of tools. Having stock on-site for customers is critical, and Ceratizit’s vending solutions are customized to offer up to 400 tools in one machine, with a choice to add extension units. Ceratizit started in 1999 with a team of 11 engineers and now have a team of 66 in the UK.
