Müller creates 65 jobs in £50m Telford factory expansion | #UKmfg Focus

– Eddie Stobart has won planning permission for a controversial National Distribution Centre on Green Belt land opposite their national HQ at Appleton Thorn.

– In July Sodick Europe welcomed 170 guests to the Grand Opening of its new architect-designed Headquarters in Warwick. Mr Kenichi Furukawa, President of Sodick Co. Ltd., son of Sodick’s founder Toshihiko Furukawa, helped CEO Peter Capp and other VIP guests break the traditional sake barrels to bring good fortune to the enterprise.

– British Steel’s opportunity to flourish once more “though not certain, is certainly within grasp”, Business Secretary Greg Clark has told, stating how recent increased production set a precedent in his experience for a business in such a crisis.

– Müller creates 65 jobs in £50m Telford factory expansion.It will also be able to make products in formats including big pots, split pots and regular fruited yoghurts.

Müller, which also has sites in Market Drayton and Minsterley, said the project will help it to meet growing demand from consumers for branded and private label yogurts made with milk from British farms.
