This week, MTDCNC’s Arthur Field and Ana Fernandez were on-site at Advance CNC Machining in Grove City, Ohio, taking a closer look at one of the most impressive machine shops in the region.

The shop runs exclusively on Makino machines — a clear statement of their commitment to high-end manufacturing. Add to that some of the most stylish decor we’ve ever seen in a machine shop, and you’ve got a business that takes pride in every detail.
When it comes to tooling, the team at Advance CNC are huge fans of Vargus. From the MACH to the TMDR, Vargus thread mills are a core part of their success — and, according to Derek and the team, it’s always the first line they turn to.
