Chloe Reeve of MTDCNC is with Dave Dudley of ELE Advanced Technologies to discuss all the benefits and savings from their investment. With an aim to standardise the EDM process across their manufacturing cells, ELE invested in dedicated JOEMARS machines and found them easy to changeover and simple to operate. The business has increased productivity with lead times reduced from 6 months to a month and 21 days to 7 days! Where they previously had 4 to 8 hours of machine setup time, ELE have reduced it down to 20 minutes. Dave says the customer service and support from EUROSPARK has been fantastic, with EUROSPARK on-site the day after the machines were delivered and ELE cutting material within a week! ELE machine difficult materials to make a diverse range of 25mm to 1-meter parts for the aerospace and IGT power generation industry.
